Today I had the opportunity to assist an amazing agency artist for a production! It was at the Youtube Space in New York. I got to meet a group of amazing talented artists. We had so much fun, I got to do makeup and just hang out all day. Best day ever…so much better than working in a salon. I’m making a salon’s week paycheck in just a day. How awesome is that? Oh and you get fed ! I ended up just driving to NY instead of taking a train and found parking right across Chelsea Market for 12 hours $30.00. I am loving this freelance artist thing. Agency signed artists make so much more money.
I learned so many things today: men’s grooming, production terms, artist presentations, setting your standards, differentiating between real & fake opportunities
Today just made me love my job again <3
