Building Artist Portfolio Process

Ello again ! I know I have disappeared but just dealing with this crazy thing we call Life. I hope all of you are well.

In my last Building Portfolio post I explained all the things I wish I knew before I actually started my real portfolio.

I just want to show you

Those were the images unedited. Screen Shot 2016-11-09 at 2.45.29 PM.png

These images are the finished product while I just compiled & pasted onto a word document so you could see it all in one.

Time to criticize my work, there isn’t much of a difference in makeup with the blonde girl. There is not enough contrast. Also, a lot of the makeup looks have the same eyeliner on the bottom, you need diversity.

I wished I had groomed the eyebrows a little more for the 2nd picture. Ahh all the things we learn along the way.

This is a raw behind the scenes shot compared to the finished product. You can see also how differently makeup can sometimes translate on camera. So remember if you want colorful images, go heavy handed with your application.

For the most part I am happy with the finished product & will make sure that my next shoot will be completely different.

I hope this helps & I am here to answer & help you with any questions that you may have.

Love You <3

Have a wonderful day!
