Hey Guys so I have been really enjoying staying at home & being able to make money from the comfort of my bed & occasionally running to the post office around the corner.
It gets a little tiring for me to be traveling all over the place doing hair & makeup plus I have been a little sick so this helps.
I was contacted by a friend of mine who was trying to figure out how to make an income from home & I decided to share this post with everyone else because I think you could benefit from it too.
So far for the month of January 2017 I have made $614.82 strictly from home (does not include my makeup & hair freelancing)…it is a small amount but I personally believe that every cent counts.
Ways to make Money From Home
1.Your Closet
I know you have some clothes in your closet that you’ve never even worn or just doesn’t fit anymore. You can sell your used clothing, jewelry, and makeup on Poshmark to make money. I have a whole bunch of items with the tags still on that were just sitting in my closet so I decided to put them up. Poshmark does take a fee from the sale:
For everything that you list under $15 – $2.95 flat fee
For anything over $15 – 20% …So you are keeping 80% of the earnings
Poshmark will not send your earnings to a Paypal account, they will direct transfer it to your bank account.

2.Selling Non-Clothing Items
Poshmark is a platform where you mostly just sell clothes but what about your other items lying around your house that you want to get rid of.
You can sell other items on Ebay. I’ve sold old digital devices I no longer use on Ebay & things I have bought for my business that I didn’t like. Just remember that Ebay does take a fee too. If you open up a basic store they will take a 10% commission. The money will go to your Paypal & Paypal will take a fee as well which is 2.9% + $0.30 . So keep that in mind when you are pricing things.
Ebay will take a final value fee if you put a price for shipping, so try to include the shipping costs into the item price to avoid final value fees on shipping.
I love Ebay & have been selling on there for years.
3.Get rid of your old phone
I had an Iphone 5s lying around that was broken and didn’t even turn on. I found a company called BuyBackBoss that buys old phones. I shipped them my phone and they provided me with prepaid postage which they sent to my email & they sent me $10 to my paypal account. I am sure you can get more if your phone still works.
4.Monetize Your Blog
If you don’t have a blog I would suggest you start. Blogging has been one of the most amazing things I have ever done and you can earn income while blogging about whatever your passion is or whatever challenge you are facing.
All you have to do is buy a domain (your website name) & host it with a company (Hostgator) & use WordPress as your platform. It is fairly cheap and no you don’t need a website designer. WordPress has many themes you can pick from.There are many videos on Youtube that show you how to start a blog as well.
You can monetize your blog by placing ads & using affiliate links. Share a Sale is a great platform that connects you to many affiliate programs. You can sign up here.
5.Offer A Service
Are you an amazing baker? Are you great at doing hair or makeup? What is your talent? Use your talent as a source of income. You can set up your own prices and be your own boss. You have absolute control of your schedule…that is why I love being an entrepreneur. You can advertise your services on Thumbtack or Fiverr.
I personally have used Thumbtack but not Fiverr. On Thumbtack you will have to buy credits in order to send potential customers price quotes.
6. Start a Business
This may take some initial capital! I personally started my own Bath Bomb Company on Etsy. I love Etsy so much, I think it is such a wonderful platform. Etsy does take a small commission out but they take care of everything else for you, collecting payments from customers, and they even get you a discounted price on shipping. Please make sure you take advantage of their discounted shipping labels and do all your research. Use the resources and tools they have and read everything you can. This will help you save time and money in the long-run.

7. Ibotta
Ibotta is an app that you can download on your phone. You are going to buy groceries regardless, why not get some money back while you shop? They have rebates for produce like bananas, tomatoes, avocados, and more. You can also get money back on buying clothes & going out to dinner. They send the money directly to Paypal or Venmo. You need to accumulate $20 before they can pay you. You can sign up here.

8. Cross Media Panel
I rave about this company so much because it is the easiest way to make money you almost think how could this be real? But it is and I have the screenshots to show you that it is not a scam because I literally have gotten the gift card in my email. I have tried so many other companies that claim you can make money by just downloading their app but turns out they either give you a virus on your phone or they just enter you in sweepstakes.
This company is the only one that works. They just study how consumers use the internet to improve real-world products. The more devices in which you download the app the more money you make. You can sign up here. *P.S I don’t make a single penny when you sign up. They do not have an affiliate program.
Btw I have tried Nielsen & MobileXpression and I don’t like them and I wouldn’t want you to waste your time.
9. Returns
Have any items lying around that you have bought recently that you didn’t like or wound up not even using? I just returned an Aura Cacia Natural Oil Product because the minute I opened it , I couldn’t stand the smell of skunk. It was so weird and I got my $11.21 back.
10. Youtube
Let me start off by saying that doing Youtube is not a quick way to make money. You won’t even get paid until you reach the $100 threshold and that could honestly take a long time or a short time depending on how many videos you post, how frequently, and the popularity of your videos. However, Youtube has the potential to grow and become a nice passive income if you keep at it. Patience is key. You can check out my channel here.
11. Swagbucks
Swagbucks is a platform that enables users to earn points by performing a variety of online activities such as searching, shopping, taking surveys, playing games, and discovering online content. You get to redeem those points for retail gift cards, PayPal cash, or other rewards. I personally haven’t really used this app but my sister has and actually got a gift card. You can sign up here. Whenever you refer a friend, you make money as well.
12. DropShip
With drop shipping, you don’t need to invest thousands of dollars in inventory. You can simply partner with a drop shipping supplier and list their merchandise for sale on your own website. Once you receive an order you forward it to the supplier for fulfillment. The supplier will ship the product directly from their warehouse to your customer, and charge you only for the price of the shipped item. You never have to spend loads of money to do this. 13. Ebates
I really wish I knew about this website a long time ago. I would have never physically gone into a Sephora store if I knew I could shop Sephora makeup through Ebates and get cashback. You can shop normally at all online retailers though Ebates and you make a percentage back on your purchases. You’re “making” money on your shopping hauls. You also make $25 by referring a friend so you can sign up here.
