So I finally had the pleasure to do my boss’s makeup for her engagement party but you wouldn’t believe what happened. I was supposed to do her & her bestfriend which I was doing for free as her engagement gift.
She wanted to start really early early in the morning at 6 am..she lives 1 hour & 15 minutes away from me. That meant I would have to wake up at 4:30 am to get ready & get going.
I ended up waking up at 5:30 am…I thought it was a joke. I put my phone down & look at it again & it says 5:30…I never got out of my bed so fast in my life. I had no idea how I just slept through my alarm clock again. I didn’t even put my makeup on or my lashes at least. I just threw something on & ran out my house.
My drive there I’m thinking my life is over. She is never going to forgive me & I’m done. I am so off the bridal team…I text her saying I am running a little late.
Turns out she was running late herself & just got out the shower & still had to clean her apartment. I didn’t get there til 7 am lol
Thankfully everything was fine & we all had shots of Hennessy. We had so much fun & i loved her bestfriend. It was so nice to meet her & my boss’s mom . She had me fix her mom’s eyebrows lol. I was so upset I couldn’t go to her engagement party…but I can’t wait to go to her wedding in Jamaica. I am so excited 🙂
She calls me later to thank me for her makeup lasted all day long through all the crying & everything.
So what I thought was a nightmare actually turned out to be completely fine…. Thankfully lol
